Although, this was the first group activity by all group members, the work is really good and the collaboration is fantastic. Because all of us are fulltime students from Mainland China, it is not very difficult for us to get together when discussed the assignment, and we also kept touch via the email and online chatting application to update the group activities.
After discussion for several times, we have a basic realize of the mind map and its content. Because the mind map can be made on the website directly, it is convenient for us to modify and add something individually. We divided learning theories into three parts: behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism. Each part has its own characteristic and assumptions to support the catalog. In another perspective, the Instructivist Models and Constructivist Models in learning theories can also be connected through the technology.
But there are also some problems occurred during our work, the finished work seems cannot be downloaded to local computer or be shared to other website. We can only cut the picture from the website and paste it to our blog. And the picture cannot be viewed online if the reader have not registered the website. Apart from these draws, I think it is still a good tool for us to establish a systematic knowledge to some new theories, which can be popularized in our future class.
